Painted on both sides
1. Sketch
I start by sketching your car from the reference photo you send.
2. Underpainting on the back
Here's what makes these different! Shadows and base colors get painted on the back of a sheet of matte Dura-Lar film.
3. Details on the front
Then I flip it over and paint the details on the front. The back layer shows through, which gives the painting a depth you can't get on paper.
4. Finishing coat
A quick finishing coat once everything is dry.
5. Your print
I make a print of your painting too, so you get both the original and a print.
6. Shipped to you
Your original and your print get hand-packed and sent your way.
Every custom painting is done on an 11 x 14 inch sheet and arrives unframed, ready to frame however you like.

Founding rate: $150 for our first 5 commissions. Regular price will be $300.
This is the original painting, made just for you, and there will only ever be one. You get a print of it too! We're opening our commission book with a founding rate for our first 5 clients. Once those spots are gone, custom paintings will be $300.

How it works
- Step 1: Fill out the form below and tell me about the car you want painted.
- Step 2: I'll reach out and we'll talk through your reference photo.
- Step 3: Once we're good to go, I'll send you an invoice when I'm ready to start your piece. Paying it in full locks you in.
- Step 4: I paint it, make your print, and ship both! Most pieces ship about two weeks after I start.

We love a challenge! If your idea doesn't fit the standard painting, tell us about it. Larger canvas paintings, murals, your building, your sim rig, or any other art project you're dreaming up. Every special project is priced individually based on size and scope.

Hi, I'm Alex! I'm a designer and illustrator with over 10 years of professional experience, and I paint every original behind the prints in our shop.
My love for art started in a high school Photoshop class and it never slowed down. Since then I've painted murals, designed custom apparel, and created the branding and design for PyfPoint Racing.
We're a racing family, so cars are a big part of our life. Painting them is where my favorite things meet, and I can't wait to paint yours!

Good to know
How long does it take?
Most paintings are finished about two weeks after I start your piece. I paint in the order commissions are confirmed, so busy times can mean a little wait before yours begins. Shipping time is on top of that and depends on where you live.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! International orders take longer to arrive, and any customs fees or import taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You get a full refund any time before I start your painting. Once painting has started, commissions are final.
Can I request changes?
Because each piece is an original painted by hand, revisions aren't included. That's why we talk through your reference photo together before I start.
What do I need to send?
A clear, well-lit reference photo of the car, at the angle you want painted. I paint what the photo shows, so the better the photo, the better the painting.
Will you share my painting?
We may share photos and video of your piece on our site and social. The original and the print are yours, and we never sell copies of your commission.
